About Me
My name is Tim Lund (they/them). I'm a recent graduate in mathematics and computer science with a minor in digital animation. I specialize in interdisciplinary research as well as motion media design, and have an interest in computer graphics. I will be pursuing my PhD in mathematics at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute beginning this fall.

Research
My research areas include numerical methods for nuclear physics, time scale calculus, and linear algebra on finite fields. I am currently investigating the numerical ranges of square matrices with entries from finite fields and developing Python modules to handle finite field linear algebra.

Creative
I have expertise in motion media design and animation, primarily working in programs such as Adobe After Effects and Autodesk Maya. Other creative interests of mine include graphite sketching, embroidery, writing, and orchestral composition.
